U.S.-MADE DENIM & MENSWEAR, OAKLAND, CA
Not many people know this but the inspiration behind the shop is two distinctly American writers known for their rugged individualism, sense of adventure and wild prose, Oakland’s Jack Kerouac, native of Lowell, Mass., home to many America’s textile mills during the Industrial Revolution.
The owner Tomy grew up right near Lowell, MA (where Kerouac grew up) and now lives in Jack London Square. He has been passionate about denim since his grade school days and he sees jeans as a American icon. He carriers only the highest quality of denim.
